Lt Gen Hooda, a distinguished retired Army General, brings a wealth of experience from his illustrious 40-year career. Commissioned into the 4th Battalion of the 4th Gorkha Rifles in 1976, he has served in diverse and challenging roles. His strategic acumen was pivotal during his tenure as the Army Commander of Northern Command, where he oversaw operations along the borders with Pakistan and China and planned the surgical strikes following the Uri attack in 2016. He shares his extensive knowledge of leadership, crisis management, and national security through talks and contributions to various platforms.
